Stratus, Inc. is a strategic planning consultancy offering customized strategic planning programs to prepare clients to succeed in these rapidly changing times. Stratus’s process designs merge strategic and scenario planning and organizational and individual learning methodologies to achieve high impact transformational experiences for organizations and community groups. 

 

Stratus was founded in 1996 as a boutique strategic planning organization focused on creating transformative processes and strategies for its clients. All processes and approaches are customized to optimally achieve the client’s desired goals and outcomes. Stratus draws from a wide array of strategic planning methodologies in designing each client process that include SWOT analysis, value proposition development, vision and mission statement development, scenario planning, success formula methodology, systems thinking, and three horizons planning. From the beginning, scenario planning has been a core methodology within many of Stratus’ process designs. Often a single component of scenario planning can be shaped to provide a profound learning experience for the client.

 

Stratus has served the nonprofit, for-profit, and government (federal and state) sectors since its founding. Stratus has extensive experience in higher education; public health and healthcare; scientific research organizations, communities and supporting platforms; and in a wide range of professional, scientific, and community associations.
